Dr. Appt.
So Caden weighs 20 lbs! It's so hard to believe it's just that for how much he eats! He has just hit a plateau right now. He is getting another tooth in, it's just starting to poke through now. Now I asked the Dr. what we should do about Caden sleeping and how it's been lately. He just said to continue to let him cry it out and not to go back into his room at all. But do we continue to let him cry after an 1 hr? 2 hr? Dr. didn't really clarify what to do from there. 2 hours is a long time for him to cry! Poor little guy!

Caden is just like his daddy. He ate well too. You'll have to check what Jacob's baby book to see what his weight was at this age, but I'm thinking it was about the same! And yes, Jacob went through a spell where he wouldn't go to sleep. He would get out of his little bed and pound on the door! So he was a little older than Caden when he went through this stage. It was quite a shock for us, too, since Jacob loved his bed and pillow! Mom M
ReplyDeleteYes, Caden is like Jacob when it come to not going to sleep. Just ask Uncle Tim sometime. When we lived in Michigan, Tim came over to the house for supper one Friday night since Auntie Paige was working at the bank. We got done eating and put Sara and Jacob to bed. Sara went to sleep and Jacob flopped out of his crib with a big KABOOM and then proceeded to crawl over to the bedroom door and beat and beat on the door with his fist. Tim asked, "What is that and how long does he do that?" Oh, that's just Jacob he'll stop after a while. After the first 10 minutes Uncle Tim said I'm going home.
